As the founder of Sensory Seekers, I was honoured to be shortlisted for two categories at The Allica Bank Great British Entrepreneur Awards & Community 2024: Start-Up Entrepreneur of the Year and the Randal Charitable Foundation Entrepreneur of the Year.
While I didn’t win, being recognised alongside so many inspiring entrepreneurs across the UK was a powerful reminder of the impact Sensory Seekers is having within our community. 🥰
I made the difficult decision not to attend the ceremony, choosing instead to prioritise our sensory space. Every penny counts as a start-up, and enhancing experiences for children and families took precedence over the ticket cost. To me, the smiles we see in our pop up sensory room are the real awards.
I’m especially grateful to the HelpBnk community, whose encouragement and enthusiasm have fuelled my determination. Your support, along with the recognition from these awards, means so much as we work towards creating a permanent sensory hub where families can bond, children can explore, and parents can relax.
Thank you to the judges and everyone who has supported us on this journey. Together, we’re building something truly special.
Here’s to more smiles, more connections, and an ever-growing sense of community.
